Roosevelt BrownA private baseball instructor since 1996, Roosevelt played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1999-2002. He played for the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball and the Orix BlueWave in Japan. Roosevelt won two Triple A Pacific Leage Batting Titles and was the perfect combination of a player who could hit for power and average. Roosevelt won the 2001 Pacific League Batting Title with an incredibe .346 average with over twenty homeruns. Roosevelt ended his professional career with a batting average of exactly .300 over ten professional seasons. Roosevelt is currently a hitting coach with the Atlanta Braves at Double A, Mississippi.
