Rob Sasser
A private baseball instructor since 1994, Rob played 13 seasons of professional baseball (1993-2006) reaching the major leagues with the Texas Rangers. He has played 7 defensive positions professionally (3B, SS, 2B, 1B, LF, CF, RF) and was voted best defensive third basemen in the league in 1997. He also led his team in stolen bases with 37 in 1997, Rob hit a career high 25 homeruns in 2000. After finishing his third season as a hitting coach for the Chicago White Sox Organization in 2008, his team finished 1st and 2nd in hitting two of those three seasons.
Roosevelt Brown
A private baseball instructor since 1996, Roosevelt played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1999-2002. He played for the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball and the Orix BlueWave in Japan. Roosevelt won two Triple A Pacific Leage Batting Titles and was the perfect combination of a player who could hit for power and average. Roosevelt won the 2001 Pacific League Batting Title with an incredibe .346 average with over twenty homeruns. Roosevelt ended his professional career with a batting average of exactly .300 over ten professional seasons. Roosevelt is currently a hitting coach with the Atlanta Braves at Double A, Mississippi.
Mike Sullivan
A private baseball instructor since 1993, Mike primarily assists high school baseball players transition to college baseball by building player profiles and marketing the high school players to hundreds of colleges throughout the United States. As a player, Mike was a powerful and feared college slugger who transformed himself through hardwork and belief in self from a high school baseball player without a scholarship to one of the top Division 1 players in the State of Florida by his senior season. During his time playing baseball, Mike earned full baseball scholarships to St. Petersburg Junior College, Georgia College, and Florida A&M University which helped him earn a full scholarship to physical therapy school. Mike was named a Suncoast Conference Utility Player and led the state of Florida junior colleges in doubles. While at Florida A&M, Mike was named MVP of the MEAC Conference, ESPN All American Honorable Mention and lead Florida A&M to a MEAC Championship.
Wallace Johnson
A private baseball instructor since 1985, Wallace was the Single A-Florida State League batting champion in his second pro season, 1980, Johnson reached the majors in September 1981 and played a key role down the stretch with three timely hits as the Expos captured its first division title. Johnson led the majors in pinch hits over the four season period of 1986-89 and is the Expos all-time pinch-hit leader. Johnson coached professionally for the Expos (Gulf Coast-WPB) and Atlanta Braves (Eugene, Macon and Durham) minor league systems. He was the third base coach for the Chicago White Sox under current New York Mets manager Jerry Manuel during 1998-2002 seasons.
Mike Mahoney
A private baseball instructor since 1992, Mike spent the 2000-2003 seasons in the Chicago Cubs system, making his Major League debut at Wrigley Field in 2000. He spent parts of 3 seasons in the Major Leagues with the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals during their 2005 National League Championship run. Mike won best defensive catcher in the Carolina League in 1997 and ended his major league career with an amazing .991 fielding percentage. Mike was recognized by his peers as a strong armed catcher with outstanding fundamentals and very good power to opposite field. Mike also served as player/coach for the Iowa Cubs in 2007 and is an excellent student of the game.
Wilt Person
A private baseball instructor since 1991, Wilt played three seasons of professional baseball with the Atlanta Braves organization and was an All-MEAC infielder at Florida A&M University. Wilt played all outfield positions and first base, was awarded the July Player of the Month for the Atlanta Braves organization in 1994 while batting .348 for the season and putting the ball in play 127 out of 135 at-bats. Wilt was also awarded the Fred Koenig 1996 Player of the Year for the Atlanta Braves minor league system which is given to the minor league player who best exemplifies teamwork and leadership abilities ascribed to Fred Koenig, a longtime minor league instructor in the Braves organization. Wilt is the attorney agent for the Six Tool Players Sports Agency.
Skeeter Ellison
Prepped at Provo High School where he was a 1st team Utah All-State selection. Played one year at Dixie State College where he was 1st team all-conference and 1st team all region 18. Team advanced to the 1995 JUCO World Series where the finished #5 in the country and he was named to the JUCO World Series All-Tournament Team. He was then selected in the 1995 June MLB draft in the 24th round by the Atlanta Braves. He played 2 seasons in the Braves Organization with stops with the Gulf Coast Braves, Danville Braves, and Eugene Emeralds. Following his time with the Braves he played one year of independent baseball in the Northern League with the Elmira Pioneers.
Brent Haring
Played two years at Colorado Northwestern Community College as a two year starter was selected honorable mention all- conference as a sophomore. He then transferred to Southern Virginia University where he was a two year starter. Upon completion of his eligibility he has been coaching college baseball since 2002 where he is currently a coach at Dixie State College in St. George, UT. He has also coached in the prestigious Northwood’s Collegiate Summer League as well as been a instructor at the Sho-Me Baseball Camp and is currently an associate scout with the Cleveland Indians.
